I used to LOVE this app; it was simple, convenient, and useful. I had kept my number for a few years. I used it for mainly doctor, work, and school. I would text once a month to keep my number, but now it's like 2-3 days I have to text to keep it. Which is utterly annoying, and it's filled with spam calls. I'm looking into getting an actual service provider now because textnow is just kind of pointless and useless.

Thanks for taking the time to let us know about this. As with other phone number systems, it's possible that the number you receive was previously used by someone else when you create a TextNow account. We are constantly working to improve the system, but in the meantime, you can get a new number through your TextNow app directly if you'd like!

App *Barely works, when it used work flawlessly. (Edit.) The app now decides when it wants to work. I will recieve a message and while having the conversation it drops out compleyely. My connection is not the issue, I know this for a fact. Banner ad moves around the text block so every time you chat you accidentally click it.

I got the SIM card with my points. The SIM card is completely useless since the data still won't stay on even after I tried every solution I could find. I got a free 1 hour and 1 week trial. I see why it's free now because it's completely unusable. Good thing I got it for free. 0/10 I don't recommend the SIM card from this app. It's just an extra card in my phone. Also, the app is glitchy for my points. If i watch ads, it might not be added to my total points. The app is starting to get scammy.
